The house can be found on the fringe of the river Iška gorge. Since the river flows northwards, the gorge is exposed to a lot of sunlight. The wooded area and the river help to reduce the extreme temperatures during the summer as well as in winter.
Mount Krim, with the elevation of 1107 metres above sea level, is on the Western side of the gorge, and Mount Mokrc, with the elevation of 1059 metres above sea level, is on the Eastern side.
